Marta the dark side of the tattoo. I invite you today to another story of the descriptive and immersive kind, introducing a specific character. This time, I will present to you the embodiment of darkness - Marta. However, darkness in Sillou's rendition is certainly not as frightening as it may seem.
She graduated from the Intermedia department at the Gdańsk Academy of Fine Arts. Even during her education, she shared her knowledge and artistic passion with others by teaching children the basics of drawing. At a certain point, she chose to focus on tattooing.
Marta has been tattooing at Sztorm for 4 years, with the first year being dedicated to practice and the last 3 years as a full-time tattoo artist. When you come to Marta for a session, you can be sure that you will be cared for from the moment you walk in. She will explain each stage of the tattooing process and project creation in detail. Her creativity in interpreting your designs knows no bounds, and she will even create the most diverse, and sometimes the sweetest, characters in her dark interpretation, exclusively for you.
In Marta the dark side of the tattoo, you can observe a strong contrast, as she prefers large-scale creations. Her works are soft, extracted from the realm she has created, and she pays great attention to detail. None of her works are repetitive. When she's not tattooing, she enjoys reading books related to religions, symbolism, and myths. As a lighthearted escape, she turns to comics, particularly DC. She also has a deep love for music. Whenever possible, she eagerly travels across Poland and Europe to experience her favorite sounds live.
Marta is an ideal conversationalist, engaged in many passions and matters. So, during your session, you won't be bored. And if you prefer to immerse yourself in music, that's not a problem either. She will surely share some great tunes with you.
